Staying at this resort was quite a mixed bag. The location is simply perfect, right on the beach, and the rooms are spacious and modern, which I truly appreciated. I just completed a 4-night stay at Amber Lodge in Pongwe, and while there were definitely highlights, some aspects left me wanting. The location was fantastic, right on a quiet beach, but the beach itself wasn't very enjoyable due to sea grass. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I did find some language barriers which made communication a tad challenging at times.
